Following the tragic loss of her husband, filmmaker Jeff Baena, actress Aubrey Plaza has released a statement expressing gratitude for the outpouring of support. Baena's death, confirmed by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, was ruled a suicide. He was 47 years old.

In a joint statement with the Baena/Stern family, Plaza described the situation as an "unimaginable tragedy" and requested privacy during this difficult period. The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call near Baena's residence on January 3rd, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
