Amidst the ongoing legal battle between actor Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively, Baldoni's legal team has launched a website presenting new evidence in the case. The website, thelawsuitinfo.com, contains an amended complaint and a 168-page timeline of events, both filed in New York federal court. These documents were submitted prior to the case's initial hearing.

The core of the dispute stems from Lively's allegations of sexual harassment on the set of their film "It Ends With Us," leading her to file a lawsuit against Baldoni, his studio, and former PR representatives. Simultaneously, Baldoni initiated a $250 million lawsuit against The New York Times concerning an article about the situation, followed by a separate $400 million defamation suit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, accusing them of attempting to control the narrative surrounding the film.

Baldoni's updated legal filing alleges Lively collaborated with The New York Times weeks before the article's publication. The lawsuit points to metadata within the article suggesting its creation began as early as October 31, 2024, based on a 'message-embed-generator' reference. Baldoni's team contends this demonstrates the story's origin predates its publication, potentially impacting legal protections for Lively and the Times.

Baldoni's attorney, Bryan Freedman, stated the amended complaint reflects the substantial new evidence that has surfaced. He asserts this evidence supports their claim that Lively and her team engaged in a calculated campaign to damage reputations through falsehoods and manipulated communications. Freedman also emphasized the public interest in the case has inadvertently revealed the extent of Lively's involvement in the alleged smear campaign against Baldoni and his studio.

The New York Times, through representative Danielle Rhoades Ha, refuted the claims in the amended lawsuit, labeling them inaccurate. They specifically addressed the allegation of early access to Lively's complaint, attributing the date discrepancy to Google software and not early receipt of the document. Lively's representatives have not yet responded to requests for comment.
