Hannity: Is the Biden Family Business Saga Catching Up to Them?

Created: JANUARY 25, 2025

Revelations continue to unfold in the Biden family business dealings, with increasing numbers of IRS whistleblowers coming forward. Fox News host Sean Hannity discussed the latest developments, questioning the integrity of the Department of Justice's handling of the Hunter Biden investigation.

Hannity highlighted alleged discrepancies between U.S. Attorney David Weiss's account and that of Attorney General Merrick Garland. Weiss, tasked with investigating Hunter Biden, reportedly told six witnesses that his investigation was hampered. IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley claims Weiss stated he wasn't the deciding authority on whether charges would be filed.

Hannity questioned why Hunter Biden's name has been omitted from White House visitor logs, despite such disclosures being standard practice during the Obama administration.

The Fox News host also pointed to allegations that Weiss attempted to bring charges against Hunter Biden in both his own district and in California but was blocked by Biden-appointed U.S. attorneys. This alleged obstruction reportedly allowed the statute of limitations to expire on some of Hunter Biden's alleged tax crimes related to his dealings with Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian energy company. Furthermore, Weiss allegedly requested special counsel authority but was denied by Garland, who claimed Weiss already possessed sufficient power.

Hannity contrasted this with Garland's repeated public assertions that Weiss had full authority in the investigation, including statements made under oath before Congress. This discrepancy raises questions about the veracity of Garland's testimony and whether perjury was committed to shield the Biden family.

With six IRS whistleblowers now corroborating Weiss's claims, Hannity suggests that the alleged weaponization of the Justice Department to protect the Bidens might be backfiring. He questions whether the truth will ultimately prevail in this ongoing saga.
