In a bizarre incident, a Virginia man disrupted a Bible study session, mistakenly believing it to be a human trafficking ring. According to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office, David Campbell, 48, of Stafford, was intoxicated when he called authorities on Wednesday evening to complain about his neighbors' parking habits. Rather than addressing the issue through property management, Campbell confronted his neighbors directly and, upon seeing a gathering inside their residence, became suspicious.

Campbell then contacted law enforcement, claiming he had uncovered a human trafficking operation and urging deputies to investigate. Dispatchers reported hearing Campbell taunting and verbally abusing his neighbors during the call. When deputies arrived at the scene, they found Campbell in the street, displaying clear signs of intoxication.

Campbell's neighbors recounted a different story. They explained to deputies that Campbell had forced his way into their home during their Bible study session, complaining about parking and demanding identification from everyone present. The situation escalated when Campbell nearly assaulted an ordained minister and threatened another individual. Video evidence corroborated the neighbors' account, according to the sheriff's office.

Campbell now faces charges of breaking and entering, assault, and public intoxication. He is currently being held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
