Get ready for the all-electric Cadillac Escalade IQ!
Cadillac has offered a sneak peek at its upcoming electric Escalade, showcasing a distinctly different design from the current combustion engine model.
Built on the same Ultium EV platform as the GMC Hummer EV and Chevrolet Silverado EV, the Escalade IQ will be manufactured at GM's Factory Zero Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly Center in Michigan. This shared platform underscores GM's commitment to electric vehicle technology.

While a recent teaser video doesn't fully reveal the Escalade IQ, it provides glimpses of its exterior, including a shadowy front view.

Notable features include an illuminated grille and Cadillac emblem, along with vertical front lighting reminiscent of the Lyriq and the upcoming $300,000 Celestiq. The "IQ" suffix, adopted for all Cadillac electric models, is appended to "Escalade" to maintain the prestige of the nameplate.

The wheels echo the Celestiq's design, and a glimpse through the sunroof hints at a full-width digital dashboard screen, similar to the Celestiq's.

Cadillac describes the Escalade IQ as a "reinvention" of its most iconic nameplate.
While pricing and powertrain details remain undisclosed, the current top-tier Escalade-V, with its 682 hp supercharged V8, starts at $152,490. The Escalade IQ is anticipated to launch next year as a 2025 model.
