Comedian Tyler Fischer, known for his appearances on "Gutfeld!" and his Fox Nation special "No Pardon Needed," has filed a lawsuit against a Hollywood talent agency, alleging discriminatory casting practices based on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies. In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, Fischer detailed his experience, claiming he was repeatedly passed over for roles due to his identity as a straight, white male.
Fischer alleges that over a decade, he was explicitly told by casting directors and agencies that he was not considered for roles because they needed someone who wasn't a "straight white guy." This culminated in a recorded conversation with a manager from AGI Entertainment Media & Management, where he was informed that it was "company policy" to avoid hiring individuals like him. This recording became key evidence in his lawsuit, which he filed three years ago and is currently in the discovery phase.

Fischer believes his case highlights a broader trend in Hollywood, pushing some individuals towards alternative media sources due to perceived biases. He expressed frustration with being dismissed in the past, with people telling him he would be "fine" because of his appearance. However, he emphasizes the reality of these DEI policies and their impact on his career.
Despite these setbacks, Fischer's career continues to thrive. He is currently touring the U.S. and recently released his comedy special, "No Pardon Needed," filmed at Joe Rogan's Comedy Mothership club in Austin, TX. The special offers a satirical take on politics and culture, featuring Fischer's impressions of prominent figures like Donald Trump, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Elon Musk.

Beyond his stand-up and special, Fischer is known for his online presence, where his comedic videos on political and social issues have garnered significant attention, including a Jordan Peterson impression with over one million views on YouTube. He has also appeared on podcasts and talk shows like "The Joe Rogan Experience," "Last Week Tonight With John Oliver," and "Kill Tony." He has also acted in the film "Terror on the Prairie" and lent his voice to the animated show "Mr. Birchum." "No Pardon Needed" is available to stream on Fox Nation.
