Inter Miami's goalkeeper, Nick Marsman, recently experienced a significant health scare after being bitten by a venomous spider during a visit to a zoo. The incident resulted in a three-day hospital stay for the Dutch player, according to reports from TMZ Sports citing Instagram stories posted by his wife, Nathalie den Dekker, a former Miss Netherlands. While the specific spider remains unidentified, Florida is home to several venomous species, including widow and recluse spiders. These spiders are often found in concealed areas, highlighting the importance of caution when handling objects in such environments. Marsman is currently in his second season with Inter Miami, having joined the team from Feyenoord in the Netherlands. He has recorded 19 saves in seven matches this season, building upon his 67 saves in 22 matches last season.
