Mistaken Identity: Sex Doll Causes Stir in Harris County

Created: JANUARY 22, 2025

Authorities in Harris County, Texas, experienced a rather unusual situation on Wednesday when they responded to a call about a potential dead body. Upon arrival at the scene, located near East Mt. Houston Road, Hirsch Road, and the Eastex Freeway, they discovered what initially appeared to be a deceased female. However, a closer examination revealed the "body" to be a dismembered silicon sex doll, clad only in pink lingerie.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez later clarified the incident, stating, "False call on this one – upon closer inspection, not a body." Although initial suspicions pointed towards foul play, no charges have been filed in relation to the discovery. Fox News Digital's attempts to reach Sheriff Gonzalez and the Harris County Sheriff's Office for further comment went unanswered.

This unusual incident coincided with two other body discoveries in recent days. On Tuesday, a deceased individual was found near Crosby Freeway, seemingly having been there for several days. Separately, on Saturday, the body of a Hispanic woman in her mid-to-late twenties was discovered in the water at Sheldon Lake State Park, with potential signs of foul play. Investigators are currently exploring all possibilities, including any connection to a submerged SUV found nearby, though it's considered unlikely.
