Tributes continue to pour in for former NFL quarterback Ryan Mallett, who tragically drowned off a Florida beach last week. Among those sharing their grief is Mallett's ex-wife, Tiffany Seeley, who expressed her heartbreak on social media.
In an Instagram story featuring a photo of the couple, Seeley wrote, "Just want to say thank you to everyone who has reached out. My heart breaks for everyone." She echoed this sentiment on Facebook, adding, "Sorry if I haven’t responded but the messages don’t go unnoticed. My heart breaks for everyone who knew him."

Mallett and Seeley's relationship, which included a 2020 marriage, ended the same year due to what Seeley described as "cheating" in a previous Facebook post. She detailed the experience, stating, "We began building a new beautiful home across from my grandparents in cotter and we got married. Then came Covid, cheating, and drama around the corner to wake me up from this fairytale I thought I was living."
Meanwhile, investigations into Mallett's drowning continue, with officials confirming the absence of rip currents at the time of the incident. Destin Beach Safety reported yellow flag conditions, indicating moderate surf and/or currents, but explicitly stated that no rip currents were present where Mallett was swimming. He reportedly struggled while trying to reach a second sandbar approximately 150 feet offshore.

Mallett left a lasting legacy on the football field, particularly during his time with the Arkansas Razorbacks. After transferring from Michigan, he flourished, throwing for 3,624 yards and 30 touchdowns in 2009, followed by 3,869 yards and 32 touchdowns in 2010.

Drafted by the New England Patriots in 2011, Mallett started eight games across his 21 NFL appearances. More recently, he served as the head football coach at White Hall High School in Arkansas.
