Susie Wiles, incoming White House chief of staff for President-elect Trump, has emphasized a collaborative and focused approach for the new West Wing, rejecting any room for internal conflict or self-promotion. In a recent interview, Wiles, the first woman to hold this influential position, stressed the importance of teamwork and shared objectives.
Wiles stated her intolerance for "backbiting, second-guessing, or drama," highlighting their detrimental effect on achieving the administration's goals. She affirmed that individuals unable to work collaboratively within the West Wing would not be welcome. Wiles aims to avoid the internal conflicts that sometimes characterized the previous Trump administration.

Reflecting on the past term, Wiles acknowledged its accomplishments while expressing hope for a smoother second term, free from distractions like impeachment proceedings. She outlined key priorities, including regulatory reform, tax reduction, government efficiency initiatives, border security, and deportations of individuals residing in the country illegally.
Wiles praised the professionalism of Jeff Zients, the outgoing Biden chief of staff, for his cooperation during the transition. However, President-elect Trump expressed criticism of President Biden's actions during the transition period, accusing him of creating obstacles and enacting policies he considered wasteful.

Wiles secured the chief of staff position after successfully co-managing Trump's 2024 campaign, noted for its disciplined approach. Both Trump and co-manager Chris LaCavita commended Wiles for her contribution to the victory. Characteristically, Wiles declined the opportunity to address supporters during Trump's victory speech, preferring to remain out of the spotlight.
