In Redmond, Washington, a man accidentally discharged his legally carried firearm inside Sages Restaurant on Friday evening, injuring two patrons. The incident occurred just before 8 p.m. when the gun fired and ricocheted off the floor, striking one person in the elbow and another with shrapnel. Both victims were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect initially fled the scene but later turned himself in at the Redmond police station along with the firearm. He was booked into Score Jail on a reckless endangerment charge. Police believe the discharge was accidental and that the suspect had no connection to the victims.
