Fifteen-year-old Charlie Woods, son of golf icon Tiger Woods, achieved a memorable milestone during the final round of the PNC Championship on Sunday, sinking his first-ever hole-in-one.
The remarkable ace occurred on the par-3 fourth hole at the Ritz-Carlton Club Orlando, where the father-son duo held the lead going into the final day of competition. Young Woods appeared content with his tee shot, but the erupting cheers from the gallery soon revealed the true outcome – a perfect hole-in-one. "That went in?" Charlie exclaimed in disbelief.
An equally astonished Tiger Woods embraced his son with a celebratory hug. This marked the fifth consecutive year the pair have participated in the 36-hole tournament. It was also Tiger's first tournament appearance since undergoing his sixth lower back surgery in September. The Woods team maintained their lead through the front nine on Sunday.
