UFC fighter Colby Covington, never one to shy away from controversy, used a recent media appearance to reignite his feud with NBA superstar LeBron James. Instead of focusing on his upcoming opponent, Joaquin Buckley, Covington launched into a tirade against James, referencing an old video featuring the basketball player and disgraced music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs.
Covington questioned James about the video, in which James exclaimed, "Ain't no party like a Diddy party." This comment has aged poorly given Combs' recent indictment on serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.

Covington's attack continued, criticizing James as a poor role model and referencing a recent incident where a fan confronted James about attending Combs' parties. He concluded his rant with a harsh personal attack and wished for James' imprisonment alongside Combs.

This isn't the first time Covington has publicly targeted James. The UFC fighter has a history of outspoken and often controversial comments, particularly during media events. In addition to James, Covington also took aim at other fighters during this particular press conference, including Jon "Bones" Jones.

Covington, with a 17-4 UFC record, is coming off a loss to Leon Edwards at UFC 296. He's 2-3 in his last five fights, his most recent victory being against Jorge Masvidal in March 2022.
