Mariah Carey, the self-proclaimed "Queen of Christmas," recently clarified that her 2024 Spotify Wrapped video message was not, in fact, AI-generated. She attributed the speculation to "bad lighting and a red lip," humorously expressing her dislike for both on X (formerly Twitter). The festive video, featuring Carey in a Santa Claus dress against a backdrop of Christmas lights, thanked fans for their support and celebrated the 30th anniversary of her album "Merry Christmas."

This clarification comes on the heels of an altercation at one of Carey's recent Christmas concerts. During a performance of her iconic hit "All I Want for Christmas is You," a physical fight erupted in the audience. Video footage shows two men shoving each other, with a woman attempting to intervene. The incident reportedly stemmed from a dispute between two women, escalating when one threw a drink at the other. Despite the commotion, Carey remained unfazed and continued her performance. The singer's holiday classic, now a perennial favorite, recently marked its impressive 30th anniversary, having sold over 10 million copies and consistently topping the Billboard charts.
