NYC Robbery Crew Steals ATMs and Cash from 49 Stores in Three-Month Spree

A group of three burglars are wanted by the New York City Police Department (NYPD) for a string of ATM robberies spanning across Upper Manhattan, The Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens. Over three months, from September 19th to December 26th, 2024, the crew targeted 49 stores, making off with ATMs, cash, and merchandise. The thieves used stolen vehicles as getaway cars following each incident.

While the total value of the stolen ATMs remains undetermined, police confirmed that $40,000 in cash was taken in just two of the September robberies. The NYPD released surveillance footage on January 4th, 2025, showing two individuals carrying an ATM from a store. As of January 5th, 2025, no arrests have been made. The NYPD has asked for public assistance in identifying the suspects and encourages anyone with information to come forward. Despite this spree, citywide burglary rates are down 6% compared to the same period in 2023, with 12,923 burglaries reported as of December 29th, 2024.
