Up-and-coming rapper Jakobe Moody, known professionally as FN DaDealer, has been arrested and charged with murder following a fatal shooting in Atlanta last month. The 20-year-old artist, signed to Young Thug's Young Stoner Life (YSL) Records, is accused of being involved in the death of 28-year-old Tremaine Glasper on June 5th. Police reported that two men approached Glasper's vehicle and fired multiple shots at the Mechanicsville Cross apartments. Moody is currently detained without bond, facing charges of murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Moody's mother maintains her son's innocence, asserting that he is not involved in gang activity and is a dedicated father focused on his music career. She believes he has been mistakenly identified and plans to release a statement with their attorney later this week.
This incident occurs amidst the ongoing racketeering trial of Young Thug, whose legal name is Jeffery Williams. Prosecutors allege that Williams is the founder of the Young Slime Life (YSL) criminal street gang, while the defense argues YSL is simply a record label. Moody is not listed as a defendant in the Young Thug case.

According to the Young Stoner Life website, Moody's stage name, FN DaDealer, is derived from the phrase "From Nothing," with "DaDealer" referencing his past entrepreneurial endeavors. The website describes him as a native of Atlanta's south side, inspired by trap music pioneers T.I. and Young Jeezy. It emphasizes his aspirations to support his family and create opportunities for others.
