Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons isn't dwelling on past playoff disappointments. Entering his third NFL season, the All-Pro defender is laser-focused on leading the Cowboys to a Super Bowl victory. He believes this is their year to claim the Lombardi Trophy, dismissing predictions of another Eagles' dominance in the NFC East.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Parsons expressed his confidence, stating, "It’s our turn this year. You gotta capitalize on your opportunities." He downplayed the notion of the Eagles repeating as NFC East champions, emphasizing the importance of proving oneself on the field every Sunday, regardless of roster strength. He acknowledged the Eagles' strong performance last season but pointedly noted that they ultimately fell short of their Super Bowl aspirations.

While the Eagles largely retained their core roster and added key defensive players through the draft, the Cowboys also made significant offseason moves. The acquisition of wide receiver Brandin Cooks and cornerback Stephon Gilmore, along with the drafting of defensive tackle Mazi Smith, bolster the Cowboys' lineup on both sides of the ball. With Ezekiel Elliott's departure, Tony Pollard is expected to take on a larger role in the backfield.

Parsons, who finished second in Defensive Player of the Year voting last season, aims to elevate his game even further. He stated his mission is to "be the best player in the league" and "make a statement this year." Beyond his on-field goals, Parsons participated in Fanatics' Merch Madness Fan Gear Giveaway, a nationwide initiative providing licensed merchandise to underserved children. He shared his personal connection to the cause, highlighting the importance of giving back to the community and supporting the next generation.
