While Pat Sajak's time on "Wheel of Fortune" is coming to a close, his presence in public life is far from over. He will continue serving as the chairman of the Board of Trustees at Hillsdale College, a role he's held since 2019, having previously served as vice chair from 2003.

Hillsdale College expressed their appreciation for Sajak's leadership, highlighting his wisdom and wit as valuable assets to the institution. Emily Stack Davis, the college's executive director of media relations and communications, emphasized Sajak's long-standing presence in television and radio, noting his 42-year tenure on "Wheel of Fortune."
Davis also acknowledged the unique connection Sajak has built with audiences over the years, appearing in homes across America nightly. The college conveyed their congratulations to Sajak on his retirement and expressed their anticipation for his future endeavors.

Sajak himself announced his retirement via Twitter in June, stating that the upcoming 41st season of "Wheel of Fortune" would be his last. Hillsdale College affirmed their desire to maintain a strong relationship with the Sajak family, looking forward to continued collaboration and wishing Sajak and his family well.
