The ITIA acknowledged Majchrzak's unintentional consumption, citing evidence including consultations with a dietitian about the supplement. During the suspension, Majchrzak is barred from participating in or attending any sanctioned tennis events.

In a statement shared on social media, Majchrzak detailed his efforts to identify the source of the banned substances. He explained that laboratory analysis of his supplements revealed the presence of the substances in an isotonic drink he had been consuming since September 2022, following advice from a nutritionist. The product's label did not list any banned substances, and Majchrzak noted its use by other athletes without incident.
