Constable Herman described the actions of Reyes and Macias as "deplorable," indicating that the victim endured sexual assault during her confinement. The young woman seized an opportunity to escape when her alleged captors left the house, seeking refuge at a neighbor's residence. Authorities observed markings on her hands and legs, consistent with being restrained. She received medical attention at the scene and was subsequently transported to a hospital for further evaluation. Reyes and Macias were arrested upon their return to the residence. Additional charges are anticipated pending further investigation and forensic testing.
