In a Truth Social post, Trump revealed that he, Putin, and Zelenskyy have agreed to collaborate closely, including potential visits to each other's countries. He emphasized the immediate commencement of negotiations by their respective teams.

The team comprises Secretary of State Marco Rubio, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, and Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff. Trump expressed confidence in their ability to achieve a successful outcome.

Steve Witkoff, Special Envoy to the Middle East

Witkoff, a real estate entrepreneur, played a crucial role in mediating a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel prior to Trump's return to office. He recently facilitated the release of American citizen Marc Fogel from Russian detention.

Michael Waltz, National Security Advisor

Waltz, a former Congressman and retired Green Beret, has been a vocal advocate for ending the war. He highlighted the global desire for peace and the willingness of world leaders to support Trump's efforts.

John Ratcliffe, CIA Director

Ratcliffe, who previously served as Director of National Intelligence, brings extensive experience to the negotiating table. He has emphasized the need for the U.S. to maintain its intelligence edge over adversaries like Russia and China.

Marco Rubio, Secretary of State

Rubio, a seasoned politician and former Senator, is the first member of Trump's cabinet to be confirmed in his second term. He recently met with Zelenskyy at the Munich Security Conference, alongside Vice President JD Vance, to discuss peace prospects.
