Former President Donald Trump has announced the formation of a negotiating team tasked with brokering peace between Russia and Ukraine. The ongoing conflict, which began in 2022, has prompted Trump to take this initiative, aiming for a swift resolution.

In a Truth Social post, Trump revealed that he, Putin, and Zelenskyy have agreed to collaborate closely, including potential visits to each other's countries. He emphasized the immediate commencement of negotiations by their respective teams.

The team comprises Secretary of State Marco Rubio, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, and Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff. Trump expressed confidence in their ability to achieve a successful outcome.
