Seven months pregnant and glowing, Jena Sims, a finalist in the 2023 SI Swim Search, confidently graced the catwalk at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show during Miami Swim Week. The show, held at the W Hotel South Beach, highlighted diverse bodies and stages of life, a message that resonated deeply with Sims.

The wife of professional golfer Brooks Koepka, Sims shared an Instagram post showcasing her runway look: a T-shirt proclaiming "Currently growing a pair" paired with a high-cut bikini bottom by Slate Swim. For Sims, the message extended beyond the humorous slogan. "It takes courage to walk the runway 7 months pregnant," she wrote, expressing the vulnerability and pride she felt modeling for her dream brand while experiencing significant bodily changes.

Sims emphasized the empowering nature of the experience, thanking Sports Illustrated Swimsuit for "celebrating all bodies and all phases of life." She was among seven Swim Search finalists who participated in the runway show, including Berkleigh Wright, Nina Cash, Achieng Agutu, Sharina Gutierrez, Penny Lane, and Brittney Nicole.

Another inspiring moment came courtesy of Nicole Williams English, who had posed for the magazine while pregnant herself. English walked the runway with her baby daughter, India, further demonstrating the inclusivity of the event.

The SI Swim Search is an annual casting call that attracts thousands of aspiring models. The public can vote for their favorite model online until August 31st, with the winner being announced in September as the first rookie for the 2024 issue.

Sims also modeled a sparkling green Minimale Animale swimsuit that accentuated her baby bump. The fashion show took place two months after Sims and Koepka announced their pregnancy. Sims revealed in an April interview with Fox News Digital that Koepka had encouraged her to participate in the casting call. She praised his unwavering support, attributing the success of their relationship to their mutual encouragement of each other's aspirations.
