Following the Minnesota Vikings' release of four-time Pro Bowl running back Dalvin Cook, the New York Jets are reportedly exploring the possibility of adding him to their roster. Jets head coach Robert Saleh addressed the situation on Friday, stating that the team would "explore all options" regarding Cook's availability. While Saleh deferred financial specifics to General Manager Joe Douglas, he acknowledged the team's interest in the talented running back.

The Vikings released Cook after six seasons to save $9 million in cap space. Head coach Kevin O'Connell praised Cook's leadership and on-field contributions, highlighting his sportsmanship and positive impact on the team. Cook, a second-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, rushed for 1,173 yards and eight touchdowns last season, accumulating 5,993 yards and 47 touchdowns throughout his NFL career.

Vikings General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah also commended Cook's leadership and contributions to the Vikings Foundation. The Miami Dolphins and Denver Broncos are also reportedly interested in acquiring Cook's services, according to ESPN.
