Joe Burrow's Home Targeted by Burglars During Bengals' Monday Night Football Game

During the Cincinnati Bengals' victory over the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football, quarterback Joe Burrow's residence was reportedly the target of a break-in. Local Cincinnati news station WLWT reported that police responded to a call about a potential burglary in progress at Burrow's home. A woman, identified as the mother of a guest staying at the property while Burrow was at the game, contacted 911 expressing concern about the situation. The woman's daughter also placed a separate 911 call reporting the intrusion. This incident follows a recent NFL memo cautioning players about a rise in burglaries targeting professional athletes, potentially linked to international organized crime. Homes of Kansas City Chiefs players Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were also burglarized last month. The league advised players to enhance security measures and refrain from sharing real-time location updates or displaying valuable possessions on social media. Burrow recently showcased a $3 million replica Batmobile on HBO's "Hard Knocks," a purchase made possible by his lucrative contract extension. While thieves often have access to athletes' schedules, it remains unclear whether anything was taken from Burrow's home.
