Singer Justin Timberlake has postponed his upcoming Oklahoma City concert scheduled for December 2nd due to a back injury sustained in New Orleans. The 43-year-old artist shared the news via his Instagram story, expressing his apologies to fans and explaining that his medical team advised him to extend his rest period. Timberlake recently performed in New Orleans on November 25th before taking a break for Thanksgiving.
This cancellation follows several others in recent weeks. Timberlake previously rescheduled six shows in October due to bronchitis and laryngitis. Those concerts have been moved to February 2025.
He also faced criticism for canceling a New Jersey show just 30 minutes before doors were set to open, citing an unspecified injury. The show was ultimately rescheduled and took place a week later.
Timberlake's current tour, "The Forget Tomorrow World Tour," in support of his sixth studio album, began in April and marks his return to live performances after a five-year hiatus. The tour is slated to continue on December 4th in Houston, with a break for the holidays before resuming in January. The tour is scheduled to conclude next July.
