Former President Donald Trump recently unveiled a series of appointments for his upcoming administration, spanning various crucial sectors like defense, technology, and agriculture. He shared these announcements via Truth Social, highlighting the expertise and experience of his chosen individuals.
Stephen Alexander Vaden, a former General Counsel of the Department of Agriculture during Trump's first term, has been nominated for the position of Deputy Secretary of Agriculture. Trump praised Vaden's legal accomplishments, including two Supreme Court victories, and his efforts to reform the agency and support rural communities.

For the Department of Defense, Trump has assembled a team he calls "America First Patriots" to work alongside his Defense Secretary nominee, Pete Hegseth. Stephen Feinberg, founder of Cerberus and former Chairman of Trump's Intelligence Advisory Board, has been nominated as Deputy Secretary of Defense. Elbridge "Bridge" Colby, a Harvard and Yale Law graduate, is Trump's pick for Under Secretary of Defense for Policy. Michael Duffey has been nominated for Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment, while Emil Michael, a Harvard and Stanford graduate, has been chosen for Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering. Trump emphasized their commitment to strengthening the military and prioritizing American interests.

Additional defense appointments include Keith Bass, a retired Navy commander, as Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, and Joe Kasper as Chief of Staff for the Secretary of Defense. Scott Kupor, a managing partner at Andreessen Horowitz, has been nominated to lead the Office of Personnel Management, with Trump highlighting Kupor's experience in the private sector and his potential to bring reform to the federal workforce.
In the technology sector, Michael J.K. Kratsios, a Princeton graduate and former Under Secretary of Defense for Research & Engineering, has been tapped as Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Dr. Lynne Parker, with a PhD in Computer Science from MIT, will serve as Executive Director of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. Bo Hines will lead the newly created Presidential Council of Advisers for Digital Assets, focusing on the cryptocurrency industry, while Sriram Krishnan, a former Microsoft employee, will be Senior Policy Advisor for Artificial Intelligence.
