Fox News Dominates Cable News Ratings in January, Marking 23 Years at the Top

Created: JANUARY 26, 2025

Fox News Channel achieved its highest-rated January ever, extending its reign as the leading cable news network for 23 consecutive years, leaving competitors CNN and MSNBC trailing far behind.

Since Election Day, Fox News has consistently outperformed its rivals, broadcasting the 603 most-watched cable news programs. In January alone, the network claimed the top 270 spots. FOX News Media CEO Suzanne Scott attributed this success to the team's unwavering commitment to delivering top-tier news coverage.
