Natasha Rodriguez Sings National Anthem at WNBA Game, Cheers on Dad's Team to Victory

Prior to the Minnesota Lynx taking on the Indiana Fever in a WNBA matchup, Alex Rodriguez's daughter, Natasha, delivered a captivating performance of "The Star-Spangled Banner."

Rodriguez, a minority owner of both the Lynx and the NBA's Minnesota Timberwolves, proudly watched his daughter from courtside. He later shared his excitement on Twitter, saying, "What an incredible evening at the @minnesotalynx game! It began with my daughter's beautiful rendition of the National Anthem and concluded with a #lynx victory!"

Rodriguez is a father to two daughters, Natasha and Ella, with his former wife, Cynthia. The couple divorced in 2008.

The former New York Yankees star acquired partial ownership of the Lynx and Timberwolves in 2021, partnering with majority owner Marc Lore, the former president and CEO of Walmart U.S. eCommerce. Their joint purchase from Glen Taylor amounted to approximately $1.5 billion.

The Lynx secured a 90-83 win against the Fever. Napheesa Collier spearheaded the victory with a game-high 32 points, supplemented by eight rebounds and two assists. Kayla McBride also contributed significantly, scoring 21 points, grabbing three rebounds, and dishing out three assists.

With this win, Minnesota's record improved to 8-9, placing them in the final playoff spot in the WNBA.

Having reached the playoffs in 2021 with a 22-10 record, the Lynx missed the postseason last year with a 14-22 record. The franchise boasts four WNBA championships.
