He highlighted the need for resources for both expectant mothers and newborns, and advocated for increased support for adoption.

Pence expressed gratitude to pro-life activists for their decades of work leading to the Dobbs v. Jackson ruling, which overturned Roe v. Wade. He acknowledged the 50 years of advocacy and prayer that culminated in this landmark decision.

Other Republican presidential candidates, including Miami Mayor Francis Suarez and Senator Tim Scott, have also expressed support for nationwide abortion restrictions. Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida recently signed a six-week abortion ban into law in his state.
